Hardwood floor refinishing
Existing hardwood restored in place rather than replaced. The original boards were sanded back, repaired where needed, then stained and sealed - keeping the floor the house already had and avoiding the cost and waste of a full replacement.
What the work involved
- Assessed and repaired existing boards before sanding
- Sanded back to bare wood with dust containment in occupied rooms
- Stained to the agreed colour and sealed with a durable finish
- Reinstated trim and thresholds
- Rooms returned to use as each section cured
